Amsterdam cherishes its Indian community

The Indian community is the fastest growing foreign business community in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. For the fourth year in a row, amsterdam inbusiness organised a cricket tournament for Indian companies operating in the region. .

The tournament took take place at the VRA Cricket Club grounds in Amstelveen. It is a family event for all Indian expats, not only for India's passion for cricket but also a chance for the community to network and socialise. The event has proven to be very popular over the past three years - last year about 400 members of the Indian community came together for the tournament. During the finals of the tournament there was a India Network opportunity with speeches by Manbir Singh, the Indian ambassador to the Netherlands and Caroline Gehrels, deputy mayor and alderman of Economic Development.
